What to Expect - Chiropractic Patients:

First Visit: You’ll be greeted by our friendly staff, shown a brief video, asked for your identification and insurance cards, and asked for your completed new patient forms.  You will receive a tour of the office, and then you’ll have a consultation with your doctor.  Next is your postural analysis, digital x-ray series, and examination. Your exam is a five-technology nerve system scan on our state-of-the-art Insight Millennium Subluxation Station.  Exams and x-rays require our patients to wear an exam gown. (Gentlemen can simply remove their shirts if they don’t want to wear a gown).  Please wear loose, comfortable clothing such as gym shorts or sweats to this visit.  Important: please make sure you don’t consume caffeine or stimulant medication within 3 hours of your new patient appointment.  These will alter the findings of your nerve system stress scans.  When you check out, you will pay for your examination and x-rays, schedule your second visit, and sign up for your Wellness Orientation Workshop.

Second Visit: Our friendly staff (your biggest fans) will greet you and your significant other (if applicable) with a smile again, give you your pre-report questionnaire, and you’ll be directed to your suite. When the doctor arrives, you will learn the results of your examination, go over your x-rays, and you will chose your Success Plan options. Next comes your first, ever-so-gentle, corrective procedure and your post-procedure x-rays.  Things to bring: a significant other or anyone who helps you make health decisions, your calendar, and an attitude of healing and resolve.  See a sample misalignment and correction by clicking here.

Wellness Orientation Workshop (WOW): This game-changing workshop is required for all new patients within 2 weeks of starting care.  This is also the ideal starting point for those who want to learn more about One and the benefits of chiropractic and wellness care before they come for their first appointment.  During this workshop, you will learn about factors which may have contributed to your current, pre-care condition and what you can do between visits to our office to ensure the best results. The workshop is offered on Tuesdays 6:15PM.  We don’t do the workshop every week, so please check with us first.  Since we do some hands-on activities, we encourage you to bring someone with you.  Don’t have anyone to come?  That’s ok.  We can pair you up with a partner.

Subsequent Visits: These usually last 10-15 minutes and are our patients’ favorite. You’re in, you get exactly what you need, and you’re out.

Re-Evaluations: These typically occur every 12 visits.  This visit will last about 30 minutes (longer if x-rays are required), so it requires a special time slot.  Since healing occurs over time, this is how we monitor your improved function.  Exams and x-rays, again, will require you to wear a gown. Please wear gym shorts or sweats to this visit.  Important: please make sure you don’t consume caffeine or stimulant medication within 3 hours of this appointment. Things to bring: your calendar.

What to Expect - Clinical Nutrition Patients:

First Visit: You will be greeted by our friendly staff, asked for your identification, and asked for your completed new patient paperwork.  If you’re a new guest, you will receive a tour of our office, and then you’ll have your consultation with your doctor.  The doctor will go over a complete case history, and conduct your thorough examination, complete with heart rate variability, nutrition response reflex testing, body mass index calculation, body hydration assessment, toxicity evaluation, and computerized systems survey.  This visit will last approximately 90 minutes.  Please note, since pediatric patients are tested with the help of a parent, parents must be examined first.  When you check out, you will pay for your examination and schedule your second visit.

Second Visit: This is where you’ll learn your examination results discuss your care plan, and get started right away with your care.  At the end of your visit, staff will set up your care plan according to the payment arrangements you selected, and they will schedule your next series of visits.  This visit typically lasts 45 minutes.

Subsequent Visits: While these visits last 15 to 20 minutes, you will receive a full assessment each time to measure progress as well as dosage adjustments when needed.  Since healing occurs in layers and over time, this is where we will uncover any new findings and fine tune your program of care.  Sometimes cold laser treatments are used when indicated.

Re-evaluations: Complete body scans, heart rate variability assessments, toxicity evaluations, and computerized systems surveys will be conducted every 90 days.  These visits will last roughly 30 minutes.
